About Us
Eventide is a welcoming, friendly, home from home, for all our residents who require support and help with their daily activities in their twilight years. All care is provided in a Christian environment and our aim is to care for our residents with the love and compassion of our Lord, Jesus himself.

Eventide residential care home has been situated in the residential area of Birkdale, Southport since 1961.

Our residents enjoy the benefits of the seasonal and social events that stimulate and entertain ensuring that things never get boring.
We have an ongoing programme of activities which residents are able to participate in, or observe if they would like to, including daily devotions led by volunteers from local churches.
Regular Activities
Extra Support Provided
Eventide has two lounges for residents to meet, chat and relax. There is a programme of activities to meet the varied needs of each resident. During the summer Eventide’ s gardens also provide a venue for outdoor activities, or even a bit of gardening.
There are regular residents meetings where it is possible for activities and outings to be suggested and discussed and so most weeks there is an outing to a place of interest.
Residents are now able to take advantage of a 'mobile shop' where they have a choice of toiletries and treats.

Our permanent chef ensures a varied, nutritious and tasty diet is provided for all residents, accommodating specific dietary needs as required.
